A master bedroom with his and her closets, an en suite, a conveniently located laundry room, kids' bedrooms replete with playrooms and their own bathroom, elevates this home to a whole new level. The newly renovated main floor lets the family be together while cooking dinner in the kitchen as kids do their homework in the dining room or simply relax in the family room. A rose in the heart of Flowertown.
A house neglected for years finally blooms. We did an extensive home renovation from the bottom up and behind the house we went the extra yard creating an oasis in the middle of a city. A century home that hasn't lost its feeling for tradition but gained modern sensibilities.

We fully upgraded the wiring from knob and tube to today's building code standards. 5" hand-scraped wood floors, capped stairs and new railings. New kitchen, plumbing fixtures, doors and trim. Form follows function . . .
With cupboards, cupboards, cupboards — a place for everything and everything in its place. New cabinetry and mill work almost make you forget what work was done behind the scenes. Relocating drain lines, rough-in plumbing, gas lines, DRIcore to cement floors and new electrical wiring. The grey basement, once storage, now brightly lit with pot lights.

"Tear down this wall" . . .
And let there be space. Removing a structural wall created space for a great room and a kitchen island to gather round. Hardwood, where once there were tiles, was seamlessly matched to existing flooring and a doorway relocated to make way for this new open concept. A modest 1950's kitchen grows up with a modern, polished look.

Lakehouse
Not a cabin in the woods.
What started as an idea of a cabin in the woods became a longing to wake up every morning and sit on the dock watching the loons disappear into the silky water. That meant a great room, a kitchen to gather in, a big tub to soak in — all the luxuries of living in the big city. We were there, bringing their dream to life.

Room to breathe . . .
Two + two = an addition. When this family expanded by two, so did the couple's desire to have a place of their own. A two story addition complete with an expansive master bedroom and large en suite. Sitting on their new 20 foot deck, they can watch the sun set over the rolling hills.

Lucas Wildman
Founder & Red Seal Carpenter
Lucas Wildman grew up in the hills of Caledon north of Toronto. When he was young he was forever busy with his hands, building forts or playing hockey. He was drawn to carpentry leading to an honour's diploma from George Brown College's Renovation Program and is a Red Seal Carpenter with courses in Architectural Design from Sheridan College.
Under his leadership and direction, Oakridge focuses on best building practices and expertise, bringing quality construction to every project, no matter how big or how small. When Lucas is not on the job site or in his office working, he can be found spending time with his young son and daughter, playing hockey or fishing for trout on the Credit River.
